QR Code Link to This Post For sale is a 1997 dodge ram diesel 2500 4x4 with automatic transmission. The truck has 456,000 miles on the body. I've owned this truck twice so I know it well. I bought it from a gentleman in Mitchell, SD the first time. He hauled cars around the country with it and had 400,000 miles or so at the time. He indicated that the truck had 120,000 on an engine rebuild. I don't have paperwork or receipts for that. The truck start/runs great, 4 wheel drive works and will pull anything. I would drive this truck anywhere without worry. I spent $3,700 on the transmission a couple years ago to install new valve body/torque converter and guts so the tranny is strong. It has a new fuel shutoff solenoid and good tires. This truck is stock and has a lot of life left in it. I perform the service/maintenance myself and take pride in that. I have title in hand.
